IARPP 14th ANNUAL CONFERENCESydney Australia
25-28 May 2017

APPLICATION FOR STIPEND
IARPP is awarding a total of $25,000 in travel support. Individual awards will range between $500 and $2000.

CRITERIA FOR STIPENDS FOR THE IARPP CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY :
Recipients must be members of IARPP and meet one of the criteria listed below:

a) Preference will be given to applicants whose papers were accepted and who are planning to present in the conference. At this stage we need to know if you intend to submit or already have submitted a proposal for presentation in the conference. Our final decision will be taken by Nov. 15, after we know which papers were accepted.

b) Preference will be given to applicants who are active in a local Chapter and/or in Webinars and/or in other IARPP activities.

c) Preference will be given to applicants who are candidates or advanced graduate students wishing to attend an IARPP conference for the first time.

Or

d) Applicants who come from countries or communities with small numbers of IARPP members and can contribute to IARPP activities in their communities.

In general, priority will be given to applicants who did not receive a stipend for the Rome 2016 conference.

In making individual award decisions, the cost of attending the conference for each applicant--i.e., the cost of plane travel to the conference location--will be considered along with the applicant's financial need. In general, larger awards will be made to those traveling from other continents and smaller awards to those with less significant travel costs or need.

Application Deadline: October 15, 2016

Stipend decisions will be announced on November 15, 2016

(Note that October 2, 2016 is the deadline for submitting proposals. Acceptances will be announced November 2, 2016).
